FARMERS BRANCH, TX. - InBloom Autism Services announced today that they have officially opened a new, state-of-the-art Learning Center for young children in the greater Dallas area to receive Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy as a form of prescribed treatment for Autism Spectrum Disorder.

The 7,000 square-foot facility has a variety of different learning environments ranging from smaller therapy rooms for a more structured learning environment to large open-concept playrooms for naturalistic environment training/play-based learning, as well as classrooms for children who are getting ready to transition into a school environment. The Learning Center is located at 1801 Royal Ln. Suite 300 in Farmers Branch, and will be managed by InBloom’s Clinical Integrity Officer, Renee Troxler, MEd, BCBA, LBA, and Regional Director of Operations, Richard Pena.

Applied Behavior Analysis therapy is a scientifically-validated form of treatment frequently prescribed to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and is the primary form of care provided at InBloom Autism Services. InBloom has also worked to partner with local complementary therapy providers to help provide additional solutions to families seeking a variety of care for their children. InBloom is an in-network provider with all major commercial insurance plans with the goal of accepting state funding sources once Texas rolls out Medicaid coverage for ABA.

“I'm excited because with our new Learning Center we'll be able to offer a larger variety of services such as social skills groups, community classes, activity groups, and training classes for parents,” said Troxler. “An overarching goal we have for all of our clients is increased independence and engagement in the least restrictive environment possible, which will look different for each individual and their families, but our new Learning Center gives us that environment.”

“I personally hope to change the lives of children and families in the greater Dallas area for the better by ensuring they receive the quality care they deserve,” said Pena. “Our future plans include hosting events for families allowing them to take full advantage of our center-based resources they may not have known about. That, along with providing opportunities to those seeking a future in ABA to gain a supported professional experience at InBloom.”

The new Dallas-based location is the organization’s first Learning Center to open in the state of Texas, with plans to also open centers in Austin, Houston, and San Antonio before the end of 2019.
