OUR SOUTH FLORIDA LEADERSHIP TEAM
Regional Clinical Integrity Officer
As InBloom's South Florida Regional CIO, Andrea provides clinical support to the BCBAs through overlaps with clients, discussions about programming, and reviewing treatment plans. She also meets with caregivers during the initial assessment and helps to explain what ABA is and what they can expect throughout the process. Andrea received her Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Northeastern University, and is currently working on her PhD in Applied Behavior Analysis from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. When asked why she is passionate about what she does, Andrea said "I am passionate about helping the Autism community because nothing is more fulfilling than helping someone find their voice while learning to advocate for themselves. I'm grateful that I get to be a part of that every day!"
Clinical Resource Director
Tara was InBloom's first ever Clinical Resource Director, and has been responsible for laying the foundation for that role organization-wide. Although she has a variety of roles and responsibilities, her primary focus every day is to make sure all of InBloom's clinical team and kiddos are supported every day at the South Florida Learning Center. Tara is also responsible for developing InBloom's South Florida Student Analysts, as well as training all new South Florida therapists. She has a Master's in Forensic Psychology, and has been working in the field of ABA for over 7 years. Tara is currently PCM trained and has provided ABA to a wide range of individuals with varying age ranges and different diagnosis. She has also provided direct care for children of the Seminole Tribe of Florida. When asked why she loves what she does, Tara said: "I have such a passion for the Autism community because from the moment I started in this field, I saw what a need there was for people who are loving and compassionate to work with these kids and adults. Many people outside of this field are scared and don't know how to interact with individuals with developmental disabilities and especially when I worked with adults, I saw how misunderstood this population is and in need of people to stand up and not only help them with ABA therapy but educate others about what Autism is and to understand and break the stereotypes associated with it."
